Job Details
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide high‑quality inpatient care on a 29‑bed intermediate and acute care/telemetry unit with an average 1:4 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.
Care for a range of patients, including general and thoracic post‑op, cardiovascular patients requiring drip management, and cardiac patients with acute exacerbations.
Perform assessments, implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity and smooth transitions.
Utilize standards, protocols, and evidence‑based practices aligned with organizational policies.
Maintain accurate documentation, support patient/family education, and actively participate in quality and safety initiatives.
Schedule:
36 hours/week
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Night shift differentials may apply
Skills You Need
Active RN license in North Carolina
BLS for Healthcare Providers
Minimum 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
Graduation from a professional nursing school
If hired without a BSN: must obtain BSN or MSN within required timeframe
Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in complex situations
Effective communication, collaboration, and patient‑centered care skills
Comfort caring for diverse patient populations and managing telemetry requirements
