INTRODUCTION

The Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum Course (TNCC) is a 17

hour course designed by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to provide nurses with core and basic knowledge and psychomotor skills that are associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. These contact hours include pre-session online modules

PREREQUISITES

Participants must possess a current unrestricted nursing license to receive verification.

Successful completion of this course is directly dependant on reading the course material to ensure passing the written test and one TNP skills station. Verification is valid for four years.

ACCREDITATION

The TNCC provider course has been approved for 17.65 continuing education contact hours (CECH) through ENA. ENA is authorized to approve CECH through the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Credentialing.

Bariatric Trauma Patient, Interpersonal Violence Patient, Older Trauma Patient, Pregnant Trauma Patient, Mechanisms of Injury

Ocular/Maxillofacial/Neck

Thoracic/Neck Trauma

Registration is based on in

structor to student ratio. Class size is limited to 14 participants

Cancellations must be received in writing at least fifteen (15) days prior to the course date.

A 100.00 administrative fee will be retained less than 15 days prior to course.

No refund will be issued for cancellations received less than 5 days prior to the course.

 

Fee includes all instructional materials.

Payment is by check or money order and should be made payable to NVENA. Course material will be delivered/mailed approximately 3 weeks prior to the course once payment is received. Communication is via email, please clearly print your email address!
