Hello NV ENA Members!

 

We are very excited to announce our March Educational speaker for our second 2022 meeting on March 8th @ 1930. Lauren Plaine will be presenting: “Understanding Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Threats for the Emergency Department”.  Lauren Plaine, MPS, RN, CEN is an emergency management and medicine professional leading, guiding, and teaching others through crises and disasters. She is always searching for the deeper “why” of a problem, question, or project to help guide the work for its greatest intention. Plaine currently serves as Fundraising Chair and the Government Affairs Chair for the Virginia State Council and as a member of the Advocacy Advisory Council. Plaine currently works as a Senior Analyst for Gryphon Scientific with a focus on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Emergencies. She received her Master’s in Emergency and Disaster Management from Georgetown University where her research focused on crisis standards of care. 

We are very excited to have Lauren Plaine present at our meeting on a topic that will provide important information that we can all use at the bedside.
